Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of the DailySudoku web, iOS, and Android apps and their features, and apply commonly across all platforms. By using the service, you are deemed to agree to these terms.

The basic web version works without login. Your in-progress game (resume), completion and failure records, daily completion status, and gameplay and appearance settings are stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage). Clearing your browser data may erase these records.

The web currently shows Coupang Partners affiliate ads, Kakao AdFit banners, and our own (Object) house ad. Kakao AdFit banners are treated as third-party ads just like Coupang Partners. Third-party web ads are shown regardless of your cookie setting; that setting controls whether your data may be used for advertising, not whether ads appear. Visitors in Seoul, Busan, or Jeju are shown Coupang Partners ads; visitors in all other regions are shown Kakao AdFit banners. If the selected third-party ad fails to load, our own house ad is shown instead. As of version 2.0.0, the iOS app also includes Coupang Partners and Google AdMob advertising. Where consent is required (such as the EEA and UK), we collect it via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Ads are shown either way: without consent, AdMob serves ads without using your data for personalization, and Kakao AdFit has no way to receive that choice. As of version 2.0.0, the Android app also includes Coupang Partners and Google AdMob advertising, and uses the same UMP consent flow where consent is required, and Android behaves the same as iOS: ads are shown whether or not consent is given. Starting with iOS app version 2.1.0, the iOS app also includes Kakao AdFit banners. Starting with Android app version 2.0.1, the Android app also includes Kakao AdFit banners. Information processed in connection with advertising is governed by the Privacy Policy. As of iOS version 2.0.0, the app offers an ad-removal in-app purchase, billed through Apple's App Store (StoreKit) and governed by Apple's App Store terms. As of Android version 2.0.0, the app also offers this ad-removal in-app purchase, billed through Google Play (Play Billing) and governed by Google Play's terms; this purchase is not available on the web at this time.

Disrupting the service, abusing automation, and misusing the code or content are prohibited. Rights to the app name, UI, code, and content belong to the provider.
