Candidate notes
Write small numbers to track what can go in a cell. If only one candidate remains, it is the answer. If a number has only one possible cell in a row or column, it belongs there.

Is there a new puzzle every day?
Yes. The daily puzzle changes at your device’s local midnight. The same date gives the same daily puzzle and difficulty. Use Today’s puzzle to begin, or New game to choose another difficulty. If a game is in progress, review the warning before switching.
Is it free?
All puzzles and hints are free. The site shows ads and does not offer an ad-removal purchase on the web. Hints can be used within the remaining allowance for each game.
Where are my records saved?
Your current puzzle and completed games are saved in this browser’s storage without a separate account. They do not follow you to another device or browser. Clearing site data may remove your progress and records.
How do hints work?
A hint reveals the answer to one cell. The badge on the hint button shows how many remain. Hints do not explain the reasoning step by step. Look at how the revealed number affects its row, column and box.
